Tribute to Ormskirk

We would like to thank Janet and Hilton Peacock from The Cottage in Ormskirk for allowing us to use their Ormskirk Skyline artwork on our bus.

When we won the tender for the Ormskirk and Town Green circular bus service we started to discuss how we could put some kind of artwork relating to Ormskirk on the bus.

We use their Ormskirk skyline coaster and mugs in our office and thought the skyline image would serve as a perfect tribute to our little town of Ormskirk. So we were over the moon when Janet and Hilton allowed us to have it put on the side of the bus.

We have already had a lot of people commenting on the artwork and notice passers-by pointing it out as we drive past. Make sure you keep an eye out for it when you see us driving around the town.

Local People Proud of Their Town

Janet Peacock proprietor at The Cottage said “We at The Cottage realised that local people were very proud of their town as we often got asked if we had cards and gifts representing Ormskirk to send to family and friends. As we were very familiar with the iconic buildings in Ormskirk we came up with the idea as representing them as a skyline. Hilton Peacock who is also a local stained glass artist, designed the skyline image which we had printed on to cards, mugs, tea towels, keyrings and coasters. We now sell these products exclusively through our shop in Church View Court and in our online store”.
